Pokémon Restock Report:
September 2026

The month in brief.
Every store, side by side.
Pokémon sealed trading-card products only. Monitor coverage is the number of days each store's monitor posted anything, so a quiet store isn't mistaken for an offline one.
| Store | Restocks | Restock days | New listings | Drawings | Monitor coverage |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Target | 118 | 19 | 15 | 0 | 30 of 30 |
| Walmart | 4 | 1 | n/a | 3 | 27 of 30 |
| Best Buy | 2 | 2 | n/a | n/a | 30 of 30 |
| Pokémon Center | n/a | n/a | 0 | n/a | 15 of 30 |
Monitor coverage = days in the month the store's monitor posted anything. n/a = not part of that store's feed.
What shaped the month.
Pokémon's 30th Celebration products arrived in September. Target listed them in overnight waves, while Walmart put its most wanted 30th Celebration products into online drawings instead of open restocks.
Mega Evolution product, led by Pitch Black and Chaos Rising, kept restocking at Target all month alongside the new 30th Celebration releases.

Restocks come in waves
74 of the month's 118 Target restocks (63%) were repeat restocks of the same product within two hours. A drop is rarely a single moment. Orders get canceled, payments fail and those units return to inventory, and retailers often release stock in batches to spread out drop traffic. Each drip is a new chance to buy, which is why checking once is rarely enough.

Why does the same product restock several times in one night?
Stock drips back in. Orders get canceled, payments fail and the units return to inventory, and retailers often release stock in batches instead of all at once to spread out drop traffic. Each of those is a new chance to buy, which is why checking once is rarely enough.
How this was measured.
- Source. The alert feeds of Swooper's store monitors at Target, Walmart, Best Buy, and Pokémon Center. Each monitor posts every detection the moment it happens, and this report counts those posts.
- What counts. Pokémon sealed trading-card products only: booster bundles, Elite Trainer Boxes, collections, tins, blisters, decks, and similar. Plush, pins, figures, apparel, card sleeves, deck boxes, playmats, and binders are excluded.
- Restocks. An alert the monitor labels as a restock. Two alerts for the same product less than 5 minutes apart count once, so the true number of individual drips can be slightly higher.
- Waves. Repeat restocks of the same product within 2 hours of each other.
- New or relisted products. Products the monitor flags as newly listed, counted once per product per month. During a drop the same listing is flagged many times, so those repeats are not counted.
- Drawings. Walmart drawing alerts within 3 hours of each other count as one drawing.
- Coverage. The days in the month on which each store's monitor posted anything at all, so a quiet store is never confused with a monitor that was offline.
- Timezone. All times are US Eastern.
- What it is not. Online inventory only, for the products Swooper's monitors track. It does not measure in-store stock, and Pokémon Center queue drops are not part of its feed. The live restock tracker covers a longer window with an additional monitor, so its totals are not directly comparable to a single month here.

Most of these restocks happened while you were asleep.
Swooper watches Pokémon Center, Target, Walmart, and Amazon around the clock and checks out for you the second a product flips, on every account you run, every drip of every wave.
